Job Purpose
Provide the organization the required quality services related to project management on construction of new buildings and their fit out projects including furniture etc. / fit out projects related to new offices / renovation / relocation for all Divisions, opting towards minimizing cost and improvement of internal/external customer satisfaction .
Provide the organization the required quality services related to asset management and the fire life and safety, set up the facility management services, premises and properties opting towards minimizing cost and improvement of internal/external customer satisfaction.
Key Result Areas
Plan and implement project management strategies to ensure the successful and timely execution of the projects.
Establish and implement overall projects plan objectives, master project schedule and financials, including project budget and work with the customer to ensure satisfactory delivery of the project.
Preparing the estimate budget, real estate, reflecting project rationale, projected investments, revenues, expenses, breakeven periods and paybacks, approvals and signed off by delegated proper Business approvals prior to any commitments.
Project liaison and work closely with internal resources to ensure the timely and efficient preparation of Budget and success of the project.
Comply with Mashreqbank policies for tendering, Selecting, appointing vendors and manage vendor activity and performance to ensure compliance with the overall objectives of the project (project objectives, costs, standards, and schedules)
Ensure all contractual obligations are clear as to scope of work etc… and terms and conditions cover Mashreqbank interests.
Manage the financial expenditure budgets of the project and monitors costs to ensure compliance with planned expenditure.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, Fire life & safety and environmental issues.
Manages outside resources (Project Managers, architects, designers, construction crews, etc.) to achieve successful completion of the project.
Coordination between various internal & external parties to achieve successful completion of the project.
Coordinate with operations for correct capitalization and categorization of projects within approved time limit.
Developing and managing a full facilities management program utilizing and coordinating contracted services and vendors engaged in fabric, plant and equipment maintenance.
Conducting proactive Vendor Management in line with Mashreqbank procedures; to include maintenance of approved vendor list, tendering, awarding and monitoring of contracts and any other procurement activity related to the Asset Management function.
Developing, managing and maintaining a reactive maintenance facility to include an Admin. Help Desk. This reactive maintenance capability includes an emergency response capability.
Project Managing small moves and building infrastructure replacement /upgrade projects.
Ensure that the safety standards are maintained in all Mashreqbank offices by periodic check up of all fire equipments and safety provisions.
Ensure First Aid services are available for all employees.
Using planned preventative and cyclical maintenance protocols to ensure Mashreqbank obtains best value for money whilst also ensuring the value of Mashreqbqnk’s non-technology assets is maintained.
Management of all aspects of outsourced resources including performance measurement through the development and utilization of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Arch. /Civil) from prestigious university.
Post graduate degree in management (MBA) will be advantage.
Experience Not less than 12 years in Engineering and project management field.
Computer skills ( Windows environment, AutoCAD, MS Project...etc)
Excellent command in spoken/written English.
