Job description
• Responsible for multi-site management of catering sites / kitchens, employee accommodation and support services, ensuring all aspects of the catering & support services operations of the units meet our clients requirement and as per contract specification and within the standard operating procedures laid down by the client.
• Highly self motivated with the ability to communicate and motivate a varied team.
• Experience of working in contracted catering services, especially in remote locations.
• Should have an excellent understanding of commercial catering operations and specifically a high degree of knowledge on food hygiene, food handling and food presentation concepts.
• Responsible for ensuring the food budgets are within agreed targets and for effectively managing all staff employed within your area of responsibility.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be an energetic and accomplished Manager adept at business and operational management and very strong in area of sales growth initiatives and maximizing profitability through cost control. Graduate in Hotel Management with 5-8 years of solid multi unit experience in an area / operations manager role. Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably in Arabic. Should be able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines. As in any successful management position, the development and motivation of the team is essential.
