Stable, prudent and with a sound reputation for quality, ADC continues to build on its strengths as an experienced refrigeration, air-conditioning and electromechanical company in the design, development, production, installation and after-sales service of District Cooling Systems.
Capabilities & Resposibilities
Reports to Operations Manager
Supports implementation, maintenance and improvement of the QMS within his section.
Formulates and executes plans related to design and development of all mechanical engineering activities.
Provides detail spedfications and accurate and complete designs of mechanical engineering work.
Provides information on the outcome of inclusion of data and information provided by vendors and suppliers, in engineering design activities.
Ensures availability of all required mechanical engineering drawings on all required locations
Conducts design reviews and prepares of spedfications of EPC at the time of tender proposal preparation and construction of DCP.
Ensures that all mechanical engineering designs are subjected to review, verification and validation as required and authorized for release by appropriate personnel.
Identifies and provides required resources induding technology, equipment and competent personnel to maintain the capability of the department to meet the requirements related to Design and Development of mechanical engineering activities.
Identifies and provides all the required resources needed in his section.
Ensures that the section quality objective is achieved.
Experience in design with
• large chillers/heating systems
• major piping networks stress analysis
• pumping stations
• building services
Qualification
5-7 years minimum of related work experience (induding 1*2 years of solid design experience).
Product design and manufacturing experience and familiarity with computer-based engineering analysis tools required.
Plastics and production metal design experience expected, Experience with 3D CAD modeling tools required, Pro-Engineer preferred.
Experience designing products for high volume consumer markets preferred with emphasis on consumer electronics and/ or battery product packaging.
Must have solid communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work creatively, both independently and as a project team member
