Job Description:
1. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 2. A strong commitment to teaching both undergraduate and graduate students. 3. A strong interest in teaching laboratories, and guiding students on projects and independent studies. 4. Candidates should provide record of or potential for scholarly activity involving students whenever possible, as well as the demonstrated potential for effective teaching using a variety of methodologies. 5. Candidates should also demonstrate an ability or interest in teaching in a multicultural, multiethnic campus. 6. Experience with both hands-on experimental techniques and computer simulation in the area of expertise. A demonstrated record and/or interest in seeking external funding. Interest in outcome-based program assessment. 7. Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching, supervision of student design projects, curriculum development, laboratory development, research/scholarly activity, developing and implementing learning outcome-based program assessment plans, developing grant proposals, student advisement and committee service for the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, and the University.
Profile:
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Doctorate in Electronics & Communication Engineering - A Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from an accredited institution of higher education is required for tenure. 2. Master of Science Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical 3. Minimum 3 Years of Teaching Experience in Electronics & Communication Engineering Preferred Knowledge or Experience: 1. The position requires a doctoral degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering with excellent teaching skills. 2. Demonstrated commitment to teaching Electronics & Communication Engineering using a variety of techniques and motivations is required. 3. Appointments will be made based on demonstrated research and teaching qualifications. Ph.D. (or its equivalent) in Electronics & Communication Engineering. Outstanding applicants from various research areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering will be considered. 4. Faculties are expected to play a proactive role in the updating and revision of their discipline-specific courses and development of new curriculum. 5. Candidate must possess outstanding creative, interpersonal and leadership skills, provide evidence of teaching excellence, and have a strong commitment. 6. Excellent Communication Skills Candidates must able to take up the following subjects:- Electronic Circuits / Network Analysis / Logic Design / Electro Magnetic Waves / Signals and Systems / Integrated Circuits Systems / Digital Design & HDL / Antennas / Computer Organisation & Architecture.
