A well established bank in Bahrain has immediate vacancies for Legal Adviser. All the applicants should be a post graduate degree holder in Law,preferably LLB. Relevant work experience in commercial and other branches of the Law. Preference to those candidates who are experienced in the banking industry in GCC. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic is required. The key responsibilities to be performed by this post are :
◘ Provide legal advice within the bank on a variety of legal matters relating to the bank's affairs and interests.
◘ Negotiate, review and provide legal opinions to solve issues.
◘ Help the bank employees to identify and solve legal issues.
◘ Review cases and issues submitted by other departments and the management.
◘ Review rules, policies and regulations of the bank and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
◘ Liaise with the bank's external lawyers and assist with the appointment of professional advisers.
