Location of Job Muscat - Oman
Job Description The EOR chemist will be responsible to do:
• Run fluids analysis (oil, water, solids, gas, chemicals, etc)
• Provides field support for process and treatment optimization for QA Steam fields.
• Actively participates in field meetings with operations and engineering.
• Advise/instruct operations with sampling requirements (optimum sampling facilities for effective QA Steam process monitoring throughout the field life).
• Provides technical input in all water treatment aspects of produced water, steam characterization, injection water and effluent water projects.
• Keeps abreast of environmental and other legislative requirements and ensures company meets these targets.
• Execute and supervise campaign sampling and analyzes programs to 3rd party lab if needed.
• Execute microbiological field test to investigate bacterial activity in production process.
• Provide added value to analysis results and remedial action to be taken (where appropriate)
• Maintain HSE target and objective
Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile
• A minimum of ONC or HNC degree or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years oil field laboratory experience (or 2 years for university graduates). Good understanding of general Production Chemistry. A team player with good interpersonal skills. Good command of written and spoken English.
Education Qualification: Bsc. Chemistry , Btech Chemistry
Experience 5 - 10 years
Education Basic - Bachelor of Science ( Chemistry ) , Bachelor of Technology/Engineering ( Bio-Chemistry )
