Job Description
Our client, a prestigious family company currently has a vacancy for a Financial Controller at their corporate level. The successful incumbent will report to the Board of Directors and be responsible for the consolidation of the subsidiaries financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
• On a monthly basis conduct Balance Sheet reconciliation for review by the Board.
• In conjunction with BoD, ensure that business cash flow adequately supports company work activities and produces optimal results.
• Identifying and proposing new investment opportunities and ensure the funds of the Company are controlled efficiently to improve the overall profitability.
• Plan, direct and coordinate accounting, investing, banking, insurance, securities and other financial activities at the corporate level as well including subsidiaries.
Requirements:
• Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Commerce with additional professional qualification such as CA, CPA.
• At least 5 years of experience at Financial Controller level within a large company.
