A reputed international banking organization with strong presence in the Middle East immediately requires qualified and experienced individuals for the post of Head of Operational Risk.
REQUIREMENTS:
> Applicants should be a Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
> Preference to applicants having CA / CFA / ACCA / CPA.
> Work experience of minimum 7 years in credit management in a bank in the GCC is required.
> Able to balance business growth with controls, cost and in-country regulatory requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Lead and influence uncompromising discussions with unit heads on risk related issues in both operations and technology areas
> Build a culture of risk awareness and compliance that is best in class
> Ensure operational risks are managed pro-actively and operational losses are minimized in the region
> Manage internal risk covering both consumer and wholesale banking products in the MENA region
