Job description: 

1. Predicts IT resource requirements to meet service level agreements while minimizing cost. 2. Analyzes service levels and resource usage and aligns capacity requirements with business demands. 3. Plans hardware and software purchases, plans upgrades and consolidates servers. Matches capacity to business needs and makes the most efficient use of resources to avoid capacity shortages or wasteful underutilization.
