Job Profile: IT Manager
Job Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Reporting to: CFO
Purpose of the job
Provide technology vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives that improve cost effectiveness. Lead the planning and implementation of the information systems to support local and central company operations and achieve cost effective ICT operations.
Key Accountabilities
1. ICT Strategy
Develop, coordinate, guide, implement, and maintain the ICT strategic and operational plans, in order to support the overall business strategy.
2. Organization systems architecture
Develop and maintain the Organization systems architecture, by defining standards and protocols for data exchange, communications, software, and interconnection of different business functions, in order to have it standardized across the organization.
3. ICT Evaluation
Provide advice and support on evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of information systems, to ensure an appropriate investment and action is applied within the strategic plan.
4. Contract Review
Review the organization’s hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts, in order to develop the organization master purchase or lease agreements for hardware, software, maintenance and telecommunication services.
5. ICT Performance
Negotiate ICT service level agreements with the management of the organization, and monitor ICT systems performance, in order to ensure that the agreed service level is delivered.
6. ICT Projects
Manage the provision of ICT project requirements and computer services, including installation, configuration, maintenance and training, to ensure that the end user requirements, ICT standards, policies and procedures are applied.
7. New Technologies
Identify new ICT technologies that may enhance or replace the existing technology used in the company, to be able to advise and coordinate with potential user departments, in orderto produce evaluation reports to determine technical suitability and cost effectiveness.
8. ICT Infrastructure & Communications
Manage the development, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure servers, the network and internal and external communications to ensure that the ICT infrastructure and communications are at the standard level of the end user.
9. People Management
Ensure and manage an effective ICT department, required number and quality of people, and effective people management in line with Company’s HR policies, in order to enable realization of the departmental goals.
10. Financial Management
Set and participate in drafting the operating budget of ICT, and to be within set budget.
Job Requirements
· Educational level: University/ Masters’ in IT
· Specific diploma/education: Certified certificate in IT Management
· Minimal experience: 10+ years
· Languages: English, Arabic preferred
