Job Profile: Business Applications Manager
Job Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Purpose of the job
Translate business requirements into technology terms, which includes the development of the complex algorithms and programming code for software solutions, in order to build, maintain, and provide an effective and efficient ICT structure.
Key Accountabilities
1. ICT Projects
Research and plan technical projects, in order to Manage technical projects to include leadership and decision making, resource allocation, budgeting of external resources and hardware and software costs.
2. ICT Consultation
Consult with functional managers, in order to determine department needs and business requirements for software applications.
3. Problem Solving
Gather information regarding problems and issues from functional managers and work with the technical team, in order to address them and prevent similar problems in the future.
4. Technical Support
Ensure technical team follows proper change control procedures and adequate testing is conducted before any changes are made in production systems.
5. Hand Held Support
Lead the technical teams that support Hand Held operation, software application, and database.
6. ICT Resource
Act as a resource for technical teams as they review, approve, migrate and test patches, changes and/or modifications to ICT systems across the company.
7. Application Design
Design, build, test and implement the software code that enables computer systems to perform a specific task, in order to design the logic that delivers the computing system functionality.
8. Application Testing
Test the application and develop enhancements that enable a positive end-user experience and satisfaction.
9. People Management
Ensure and manage an effective ICT department, required number and quality of people, and effective people management in line with company’s HR policies, in order to enable realization of the departmental goals.
10.Business Applications Support
Manage and support all Business Applications including ERP and Handheld system, ensuring their integration.
Job Requirements
· Educational level: Bachelor Degree in IT
· Specific diploma/education: Experienced in Implementing and Managing ERP and Handheld based Sales System
· Minimal experience: 5-10 years
· Languages: English
