Job description
Ensuring that project objectives/requirements are clear and agreed to by all stakeholders
Quantifying and driving projects to successful completion
Developing project plans and managing resources to meet plan deliverables
Assembling and leading project teams across multiple geographies
Leading multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating across multiple project teams
Identifying risks and creating risk mitigation plans
Facilitating discussions and managing relationships with various technology and business communities
Understanding overall program objectives, as well as the role and function of each program stakeholder
Creating an environment of teamwork, open communication and ownership
Qualifications
Relevant Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS); or equivalent experience
7 + years of experience within the Information Technology profession
4 + years of experience as a successful Project Manager using predictable processes
Demonstrated success managing large, complex technology infrastructure projects related to data centers
Specific experiences with data center, networking, systems, structured cabling, A/V
PMP certification ( or PRINCE2) highly preferred
Knowledge of various distributed infrastructure platforms ( Cisco, HP, Microsoft, Networking, Systems, Security, Wireless, … etc.)
Experience working in a large, complex, multi-site technology environment
Proven success leading multiple IT projects across multiple locations simultaneously
