Telecommunications Access Network Specialist - Ref. TRA / TTO / 02
Purpose of the Job:
To manage and run the different types of consultation processes related to the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance and protection of telecommunications access networks In the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage and efficiently run the different types of consultation process that Interfaces the telecommunications Industry with the Central Planning Unit "CPU' model.
Provide technical advice and support to telecommunications infrastructures providers with regard to the deployment of telecommunications networks, and ensure the sensible utilization of the telecommunications Rights of Way by the various providers.
* Ensure all telecommunications infrastructure networks are designed, executed and maintained in accordance with the conditions stipulated by the Guidelines for Telecommunications Infrastructure Deployment Issued by TRA.
Work as technical facilitator between the Telecommunications infrastructure providers and other public utilities Infrastructure providers moose of technical Issues.
Design and Implement suitable engineering process to ensure the efficient and timely execution of consultations.
Prepare and continuously develop all necessary technical standards and specifications to ensure telecommunications access networks in the Kingdom are deployed to the internationally recognized red practices
Represent TRA In technical committees related to the deployment of public infrastructures.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Extensive knowledge of the design and Implementations of both fiber and copper telecommunications access networks.
A minimum of 5 years experience in the field of telecommunications access networks design and deployment aspects.
• Experience of all local public Infrastructure deployment consultation processes including CPU model.
• B. SC or HND In El '-dal, Electronic and/or Telecommunications Engineering.
Characteristics Sought
• Bahraini nationals preferred.
Experienced administrators with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Excellent Communication skills in English and Arabic, both spoken and written, are a must. High level of tact and diplomacy.
The ability to work independently and be discrete in relation to work matters.
