Position required:
SAFETY ENGINEER
Qualification:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Diploma or Certificate in HSE.
Nationality: FILIPINO (Filipino only)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years practical working experience in a professional HSE environment in the position of "Safety Engineer".
Prime Skills & Responsibilities:
ü Responsible for making and implementing safety policies and procedures.
ü To be responsible for following up and advising on any HSE issues, associated standards and practices.
ü To monitor and ensure implementation of Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental requirements as per ISO standards/guidelines.
ü Assuring provision & use of safety gadgets at the work places.
ü Ensuring that Safety signs are prepared and displayed.
ü To deliver Health, Safety & Environment training to the workforce.
ü Ensure Fire Fighting equipments are in place at fire-prone areas and bear essential safety & usage.
ü Be able to plan corrective/ preventive actions.
ü Develop & Implement Safety policies, systems, and procedures.
ü Develop & administer the key HSE performance indicators.
ü Liaise with the clients, consultants and manage all HSE issues.
ü Perform HSE Audits and Inspections.
ü Identify & conduct Safety training programs.
ü Monitor and ensure strict compliance with Civil Defense safety policies.
ü Carry out risk assessment for all hazardous operations in the work site.
ü Analyze accident/ incident reports.
ü To be able to conduct weekly safety meeting with the representatives from other Departments in order to debate all safety issues and submit the minutes of the meeting to the Top Management.
ü Should be a computer literate.
ü Should possess good presentation skills.
Salary terms and conditions:
Monthly Basic Salary: SR.4,500 to SR.5,500/= depending on experience and qualifications.
Transportation Allowance: 10% of Basic Salary or Provided by the Company (left to the discretion of the Co. )
Accommodation Allowance: 25% of Basic Salary or Provided by the Company (left to the discretion of the Co. )
Medical/Insurance: Provided by the Company
Vacation: (30) days after every (12) Months
Bonus/es: One to three basic salaries yearly, depending on overall performance.
