Job Description : Club Sports Medicine Physician, Qatar
My client, the regions leading specialist medical facility is currently looking for a Club/Federation Sports Medicine Physician to join their professional, multi cultural team in Doha. You will earning an excellent tax free salary and be responsible for providing care to athletes within your assigned clubs and/or federations.
Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical leadership for the Sports Club/Federations
• Provide primary care to registered athletes in sports clubs/federations assigned to the physician including evaluation, treatment plan and follows up as appropriate
• Works as a core member of the athlete care team to asses and interpret the athlete’s strengths and barriers towards recovery/performance enhancement, to assist the athlete in recovery to attain peak performance
• Within the team to develop and implement a comprehensive research programme in evidence based sports medicine
Requirements:
• A recognized basic medical degree qualification
• A recognized post graduate qualification in sports medicine
• Certified specialist recognition
• At least 5 years of clinical experience
• Able to communicate in English, Arabic and French is highly desirable
