Qatar International Petroleum Marketing Company - Tasweeq was established by Emiri decree in July 2007 as the sole export marketer of Regulated Products manufactured in the State of Qatar, to support the country’s increasing natural gas and oil production.
Job description
- Perform assigned activities in accordance with all treasury and accounting policies, procedures and controls to ensure timely and accurate capture, documentation and internal reporting of all financial activities of the company.
- Support completion of internal and external audit requirements.
- Perform preventive and detective financial controls and internal compliance processes to ensure financial and cash activities are conducted in line with the Table of General Authorities (TOGA) and International standards.
- Perform reconciliations as assigned by Treasurer to verify accuracy of accounts and effectiveness of controls.
Qualifications
- High school or IB diploma required.
- Demonstration of cash management skills or knowledge of a banking system in a previous jobs and/or assignment is desirable.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in the English language required.
