The main objectives of this position are : 

- Management of protection team 

- Ensure protection settings are produced on time for running projects 

- Develop & implement best work practices to ensure optimum Transmission/Distribution system security & reliability.

Skills

The successful candidate will have : 

- Minimum 10-12 years in Power utility including experience in a similar position. 

- Ability to provide technical leadership and assistance to staff and others in the organization on high level protection and power system issues. 

- Ability to supervise & lead a team of protection engineers. 

- Experience in protection Simulation software PSSE, CAPE or equivalent. 

-Excellent verbal skills and high level technical report writing skills
