Job description
• Plan, direct and coordinate business development activities at the highest level of management.
• Develop and formulate bidding and winning strategies.
• Build and develop relationship with key target clients.
• Identify suitable joint venture, partners or subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Proposals Manager the preparation and submission of proposals or bids to potential customers.
• Post bid submissions and follow-up.
• Conduct and manage client presentations.
• Take part in negotiations.
• Undertake pre-qualification work.
Qualifications
• International work experience, preferably in Middle East.
• Knowledge of main international clients developing business in Qatar, worked previously for one of them in the past or within a contracting or an engineering company for projects with some of these clients.
• Knowledge of main Qatari clients would be an advantage.
• Usage of established sales/marketing/business development tools, techniques and processes.
• Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive with commercial awareness.
