The role of the Business Development is to negotiating & managing business relationships, informing product development of market needs, and identifying new opportunities for our business to capitalize on.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1) Manage creation of local marketing materials and advertising
2) Perform and manage research to identify and prioritize potential customers and projects
3) Assist in formulating standard/routine proposals in conjunction with team members , assist in developing a budget and price estimate using standard models.
4) Prepare and execute business development action plans for specific target markets and projects as identified in the Marketing Plan.
5) Assist GM in developing project plans, defining roles and responsibilities and the scope of work for each project with input from sponsors, project leaders.
6) Assist with and coordinate estimating and/or budgeting activities with sales process and final close of sale. Provide budgeting assistance to customers as required.
7) Meet customer's needs prior to contract execution. Provide advice, liaison, and planning to prospective and current customers.
8) Train and assist project personnel, committed in proposals, to make effective presentations.
Compulsory skills and experience:
1) Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation.
2) 10 years direct work experience in business development
3) Less than 50 years old
Preferred skills:
1) Experience in proposal generation, review, or negotiation is mandatory
2) Ability to work independentely
