Job Description:-

Our client, a Middle East based Islamic bank is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their dynamic team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing and overseeing the financial and fiscal management of the Bank and its subsidiaries. 

Job Responsibilities:-

• Ensure an efficient reporting system for the Audit Committee and the Board in 
respect of the financial position of the Bank.

• Oversee deployment of excess liquidity appropriate capital market products as 
approved by the Board.

• Maintain an appropriate framework to ensure full compliance with applicable 
accounting standards.
 
• Provide guidance and advice on all financial matters to subsidiaries and affiliates.

• Establish and maintain an effective system of cost management and expense 
control.

Qualificatio n Requirements:-

• BS in Accounting or Finance/MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance,

   ideally with professional certifications such as CA/CPA.

• Excellent command over AAOIFI and IFRS standards.

• At least twelve to fifteen years of work experience in a similar capacity of

  which at  least  Eight  years must be in the Islamic banking sector in the GCC.
