The Company:
Qatar National Convention Centre due to open in early 2011 is operated by AEG Ogden, one of the worlds leading venue management specialists, which also manages the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia and Brisbane, Cairns and Darwin Convention Centres in Australia.
The Person:
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have a minimum of five years experience in a similar role ideally within the Convention & Exhibition Industry or Hospitality Industry. You will possess excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Pre opening experience would be a decided advantage.
The Position:
You will be responsible for; Cash Flow forecasting & Budgets Oversee Quality Assurance planning and accreditation Managing, developing and leading a Finance team Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the business management application (EBMS). Oversee Payroll system implementation and on going management Purchasing & Inventory control Risk Management and insurance Legal As part of our Executive team, you will be able to work under pressure and towards deadlines, have a strong attention to detail and be culturally sensitive. You will have a high level of proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience in the Middle East is preferred but not essential.
