Job Description: Domestic Chief Auditor, Qatar
Our client, a prestigious Middle East based commercial bank is looking for a Domestic Chief Auditor to join its dynamic team in Qatar.
Responsibilities:
• Liaise with the bank’s auditors to avoid duplication of effort.
• Ensure timely implementation and execution of the approved annual audit plan.
• Identify potential cost saving opportunities by highlighting process inefficiencies.
• Ensure the effectiveness of corporate policies and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Implement effective internal controls and add value to improve the functioning of the various activities.
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree, preferably in finance, economics, accounting, banking or equivalent, ideally CA/ ACCA/ CPA/ CIA/ CISA/ CISSP.
• At least 12 years experience in a major bank and/or audit firm of which at least 8 years in a managerial capacity in a bank in an audit or risk function in the GCC.
