Scope of Duties:
The remit of the role will be to work closely with the HR team at Das providing HR expertise support with a particular focus on Employee Relations.
Responsible for providing support, advice, guidance and handling complex ER issues as well as coaching Managers to become more self sufficient when dealing with ER cases
Develop and deliver a focused employee relations strategy that meets the needs of all stakeholder groups and ensure that the ER Team achieves their objectives and work plan.
Identify and implement positive employee relations programs, in consultation with the relevant stakeholder groups that will lead to a more motivated workforce.
Contribute to the continued improvement of the organization effectiveness by monitoring employee performance indicators, such as sickness absence, levels of grievances and discipline and work/life balance by developing initiatives and solutions to enable positive trends.
Provide responsiveness and high quality support, training and advice to all Divisions to ensure the appropriate management of all employee relations issues including grievances, performance issues and disciplinary action.
Ensure ER policies and processes are current, conform to employee legislation and where appropriate are coherent with other government departments’ practices.
Provide advice and guidance on all ER aspects related to terms and conditions of employment, change in work conditions, performance, and remuneration and exit interviews.
Track and record areas of planning and delivery of employee relations initiatives.
Helps in developing highly professional UAE employees within the Employee Relations function of Human Resources Division.
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Candidate should have minimum 15 years industry experience, with the last 5 years in corporate wide related ER assignments and projects.
Demonstrable experience of managing peoples issues effectively together with a high level of emotional intelligence and strong inter-personal and communication skills.
Demonstrable expertise and experience in the field of Employee Relations
Possess a sound generalist HR background with experience of managing people and a broad in-depth understanding of people issues
Effective problem solver with organizational skills, proactive, confident with a resilient approach
