Skills
• University degree in finance/accounting with 20 years’ post qualification experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry financing with working experience on major multinational projects

• Professional finance/accounting international qualification

• Experience in financing/accounting systems and tools

• Should have a sound knowledge of commercial issues such as contracts negotiations, cost estimate & control.

Lead the development and implementation of the Projects financial management aspects and delivery of the business plan. This includes advice and guidance on all aspects of accountability, financial, corporate governance, risk and control matters.

• Ensure that all finances are properly administered and monitored including credit control. Manage day to day financial control of services within agreed budget

• Monitor performance and address contracts claims and variation

• Develop independent analysis and forecast for review by the project team , where he feels the contracts forecast are incomplete, in error, or misleading

• Ensure that all financial reporting obligations are met in relation to submissions for funding, budget, for contracts and any other initiative

• Monitor and update project’s cost expenditure controller and follow up cost estimating.

• Develop / Review and update Project/’s Economic Model

• Manage all treasury functions

• Ensures tax compliance

• Ensure compliance with Egypt local regulatory requirements

• Responsible for expenditure ,billing and financial related activities in the project

• Develop and maintain appropriate monthly/ quarterly management reports

• Prepare proper analysis for Quarter-end external review and year—end external review

• Establish and maintain financial and management procedures for the project

• Identify and mange any project related financial risks

• Manage preparation of timely, fit for purpose and accurate monthly/ quarterly/ annual statutory financial results together with supporting analysis and management information

• As part of the above, supervise financial and treasure activities ensuring that sufficient funds are in place to meet operational requirements.

• Manage and coordinate taxation affairs of the project

• Manage relationship with external and internal auditors, including contracting and review of services to meet project’s requirements.

• Develop, implement and maintain fit for purpose policies and procedures

taking into account IFRS and other good business practices (eg. SoX).

• Actively liaise with company in Doha finance in order to facilitate the execution of finance activities.

• Enhance the application and use of SAP, where possible, to maximize benefits.

• Identify and drive improvements initiatives to reduce duplication and achieve simplification and standardisation, where possible.

• Represent company, where applicable with third parties (e.g. banking, insurance companies) to main and enhance companies relationships, visibility and reputation.

• Ensure that statutory financial information and associated activities meets and contributes to companies business objectives.
