Description: SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


• Professional Membership in Construction and Heavy
Equipment &/or Certification preferred.
• 25 years experience leading a crane rental or related
heavy construction equipment leasing company.
• Proven track record in formulating strategic goal and
objectives with service and client satisfaction among
the major tenets.
• Proven hands-on executive managerial skills. Middle
Eastern experience would be a plus.
• Good background in crane/ heavy equipment
operations and logistics, as well as maintenance and
workshop management
• Excellent presentation & communication skills.
• Confidence & credibility.
• Sound administrative skills.
• Fluent in English Language (Arabic is a plus) .
• High Leadership capacity to motivate and energize a
formed crane leasing.
• BA/B Sc. Graduate.
• Good knowledge of Finance, Admin, HR, & IT .


ROLE PURPOSE 


• Supervise and co-ordinate the work of Senior staff
working from various regional locations. Build and
direct the management of crane fleet by effectively
leading senior staff in the technical, operational,
financial and marketing issues involving of the crane
fleet.
• Ability to employ sound financial risk analysis against
potential investment opportunities both in the region
and abroad.



ACCOUNTABILITIES 



• Formulate and direct the business plans and
profitably execute overall (short, medium and long
term) business of the company, in country and the
region in line with shareholders/Board / Board
committee requirements. Report to Board on all
aspects of the business including, but not limited to
adherence with good corporate governance standards
and practices.
• Maintains close coordination of all the departments to
ensure the achievement of goals by all departments.
• Plan for Board approval capital expenditure budget
including fixed assets purchases for operational
requirements and other use.
• Ultimately responsible for all aspects of the P & L,
Balance sheet, and cash flow of the business.
• Ensures that senior management positions are
competently performing their responsibilities. Review
the performance appraisal of the staff , recommends
promotions and confer merit increments / bonuses as
per company policies and procedures.
• Establish and maintain relations with banks, auditors
and other services that might be required to ensure
the smooth operation of the company.
• Ensure that legal financial, tax and other jurisdictional
requirements are effectively met.
• Initiate and review feasibility of investment
opportunities and make recommendations to the
Board accordingly.



SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE; QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE


• BA/ B Sc. Graduate or better.
• Minimum 25 years work experience with crane Rental Company or a
renowned international construction or heavy equipment firm.
• Proven managerial skills (at least 15 years (5 of which were at the senior
management)).
• Good knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Confidence and credibility at the highest level.
• Good administrative skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic will be a plus).
• Excellent leadership skills and high level of integrity.
• Good understanding of computer applications and current software
developments.
