Job description

 1. Organizes, directs and control the Internal Audit Department and the work of all internal audit staff

2. Develops and executes the annual audit plan and perform duties necessary to achieve the internal audit objectives and the scope

3. Communicates information to the Chairman, BoD and CEO regarding the audit function

4. Evaluates each department of the organization periodically to determine if they are performing in compliance with the management’s/account policies, procedures, goals and objectives.

5. Evaluate the organizations system of internal control to ensure that it is functioning as planned and that it is updated as necessary to meet changes in operating conditions

Qualifications

  1. Chartered Accountant/ACCA/Professional accountancy qualifications

2. Sound knowledge in Audit fundamentals, auditing standards, methodologies, risk assessment, audit related matters

3. Effective communication skill and adequate knowledge of IT systems and applications.
