Job Description:
Job Purpose: Carries out a variety of functions related to Career Development including preparation and follow-up of the competency development Programmes for UAE National new-intakes, juniors and trainees undergoing long-term on-the-job training. Issues regular reports as applicable on activities performed. Prepares and implements competency based Career Development Programs for UAE National employees with proven potentials for career advancement and counsels such employees as part of the monitoring process of the programs. Monitors the general progress and status of all other UAE National employees to identify new potential and recommends subsequent development programs. Principal Accountabilities: • Participates with line supervisors in the identification of high potential individuals for careers profile to determine existing skills, knowledge and experience determine aptitude and potential and recommends appropriate development plans and suitable career paths. • Participates in the preparations of the annual training plan and related budgets by providing the necessary data and projected expenditures. Includes participating in compiling, vetting and tabulating needs extracted from annual performance appraisal reports, individual development programs and/or advised/requested separately by department heads; collating be discipline or course as required; preparing necessary comments and processing to superior for reviews and onward processing for approval.
Education: Basic - Bachelor of Commerce ( Commerce )
