Job Description Install, implement and support, as may be needed from time to time, components of the company’s Online Brokerage Systems architecture and infrastructure, including all aspects of Windows servers, clients and Oracle Databases in consultation with the Mubasher Platform Developers. Job responsibilities include but not limited to user setup and maintenance, Server Monitoring, broker and customer support and training, and to ensure the continuous availability of the brokerage platform 
Desired Candidate's Profile
1. Support of the Servers, Applications and databases related to the Mubasher Online Brokerage Platform
2. Monitor services and the online brokerage application. Be aware of the failover processes in place for the various system components
3. Administering Broker access and control
4. Track problems and escalate with the platform developer. Document and track pending issues
5. Assist customers via telephone to understand and assist them with issues that they may face with the product. Escalate common issues to product development so that these can be proactively addressed
6. Support Brokers in their use of the platform and be a liaison point between the business and product development. Fulfill IT related Back office function. Liaise between business and KSE for trouble shooting and order routing issues
7. Arrange monthly sessions for training new customers if they desire hands on experience with the use of the brokerage platform
8. Document routine activity. Maintain inventory of hardware. Track warranties renewal schedules for Platform Software
9. Responsibilities -- • Ensuring 24x7 availability of all systems and services as appropriate • Ensuring adequate security measures are put in place and remain current • Apply related hot fixes and patches to the environment within a month of release
10. Others --
• Changes in group policy or Internet access control after due analysis based on feedback from Business users/Client Support Analysts
• Systems design catering for future expansion without major change
• Recommendations for upgrades & problem resolutions
• Guided Upgrading of Windows Server, Oracle database to newer releases and application of Service Packs & Hot fixes
• Resolution of problems related to the Brokerage platform
• Using initiative to deliver solutions and to overcome problems
11. Customer - Ensure service levels maintained for all aspects of Windows & other systems
12. Process - Ensure continued availability of systems & services
13. Capability -- Ongoing professional and technical development and training
14. Additional -- - Ensure upgrades for the platform are tested and implemented in time - Implement relevant disaster recovery procedures for hardware or software failure - Platform administration, including install & maintain Windows and related application servers, Database servers and other IT services provided by the platform - Database Management - install & maintain Oracle databases, periodic update of critical patches & housekeeping - Comply with backup on-site and off-site requirements for critical applications and systems - Manage and Maintain Inventory Others --
• Degree or Equivalent in any related discipline
• Minimum 3 years experience in supporting Back office Server Applications. Working knowledge of Oracle Databases
• Knowledge of standard IT best practices, procedures, processes and policies would be essential
• Proven Technical excellence in Microsoft Windows Server and Application Servers ESSENTIALS --
• Excellent English. Both written and spoken skills.
• Good organization and problem solving skills
