Applications are invited for the post of Legal Advisor / Lawyer
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in UAE law with thorough knowledge of Arabic and English
Minimum Experience:
· 5 years practicing law in the UAE
· 5 years experience in the UAE financial services industry and knowledge of security documentation and legal procedures
· Experience in debt recovery operations
· Experience in legal aspects of insurance
Job Specific Skills:
· Ability to maintain internal and external contacts and effectively communicate with Regulatory and Government Authorities
· Awareness of regulatory requirements for conduct of Board and Shareholder meetings and submission of reports/documents to the Regulatory Authorities
· Awareness of the Central Bank regulations/monetary systems and anti -money laundering regulations
· Knowledge of Islamic banking
· Intellectual Property/ Brand law
· Public statements/ Legal statements to the press
· Drafting legal announcements

· Excellent and effective communication skills (Arabic and English)

· Excellent leadership and management skills
· Excellent UAE legal knowledge
