Legal Advisor
1. Provides professional legal advice for the group for management's review and approval
2. Drafts, reviews or revises legal documents such as ordinances, resolutions, contracts, leases, permits, briefs, Trade License's and all Governmental Documents.
3. Reviews, refers and monitors civil claims and potential litigation issues. Liaises with External attorney, experts, and Governorate offices, as required
4. Performs Legal research on procedures of, corporate law, employment law
5. Attends labor disputes and related issues internally for the Group. Includes giving advice or liaising with official bodies to assist with them with their enquiries
6. Reviews and drafts contracts. Includes reviewing all types of contracts to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, Ensures the Group's interests are protected and risks are minimized.
7. Monitors the conformity of company personnel policies, procedures & practices to Kuwaiti Legislation, and ensuring that proposed new, or amended, policies & procedures are in line with Kuwaiti Labor Laws.
Ideal Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in Kuwait.
