Job Description : Legal Director, Kuwait
Our client, a leading Middle East based firm is currently looking for a Legal Director to join its lively legal team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate who reports directly to the Chairman and CEO must have handled and organized Annual General meetings and Board meeting related paperwork and is well versed with all the procedures of legal and able to advise and take care of certain cases.
Responsibilities:
• Scrutinize all the legal documents and advise.
• Identify, review and implement regional legal developments in the industry.
• Liaise with the counterparties and co-ordinate the execution of necessary documentation.
• Review all the legal documentation and forms to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Analyze and keep abreast of changes in the laws as well as draft and review all contractual agreements.
Requirements:
• At least 5 years legal experience in the aviation industry or law firm handling the senior level role in the aviation firms in the GCC.
• Must be LLB Qualified, though an overseas university background has an advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Arabic would be advantageous.
• Exposure to Aircraft lease agreements.
