Job Description : Legal Manager, Bahrain
Our client, a Middle East based global financial investment institution is looking for a Legal Manager to institute necessary legal proceedings against third parties after appropriate consultation with the Company Secretary and Local Board of Directors. This position is based in Bahrain and the candidate reports to the Company Secretary and has to submit a monthly summary report.
Responsibilities:
• Track changes in the laws as well as draft and review all contractual agreements.
• Co-ordinate, advice, guide, train and develop subordinates in the legal department.
• Review the bank’s legal documentation to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Liaise with the counterparties and co-ordinate the execution of necessary documentation.
Requirements:
• Fluent in spoken and written Arabic as well as English.
• Bachelors degree in Law, though an overseas university background has an advantage.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience as a legal advisor in a bank or financial institution in the Middle East.
