Job description
- Manage the Company equipment fleet i.e. heavy duty and light duty vehicles and Heavy Equipment
- Ensure optimum utilization of resources i.e. manpower and machinery deployment and if required suggest any additional need for resources (manpower/equipment) to perform planned activities
- Monitor and review levels of vehicles and equipment to ensure that they are adequate for current operations, new projects and assignments
- Plan, schedule and conduct quarterly dialogue sessions with the various/work units to provide feedback on logistical adequacy and standards
- Review and verify justifications for additional funding/requests for additional vehicles and equipment
- Plan and manage the allocation of vehicle and equipment to different sections
- Monitor the fuel and tyres consumption
