Job Description As a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions team, you will support growth through acquisitions, lead and support the strategic evaluation, financial analysis and execution of acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and divestitures. You will manage acquisition projects across Ma¡¦aden¡¦s business units as well as be assigned a focus area within one or two business units¡¦ acquisition projects. In addition, you will also coordinate and closely work with cross-functional teams (i.e. finance, human resources, mining, project management) in analyzing and executing acquisition transactions. Reports to Vice President - Finance
ƒç Manage to prepare Policies, Procedures, concepts and framework for conducting Company¡¦s Merger & Acquisition (M&A) activities.
č Create and continuously update database of available opportunities through a well established channels.
č Experience in Investment companies, banking and Corporate Finance.
ƒç Conduct required due diligence and provide full support of major investments among SBUs of Ma¡¦aden.
č Lead and closely work with cross-functional teams in developing acquisition and investment business case analyses.
č Support other strategic initiatives and licensing / partnership activities.
č Create channels for servicing the purpose with needed institutions.
č Assist business units with strategy development including identifying and prioritizing possible acquisition opportunities.
č Be the focal point in assisting other business lines in JV structure and discussions.
č Present recommendations including acquisition business cases to Vic President Finance and Executive Management Team.
č Manage all aspects of the acquisition process from strategy and target identification through due diligence, negotiation, synergy and integration.
č Work closely with other groups including Business Development, SBUs, Planning, etc.
Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile :
MBA (Finance) from a top tier school
č Around 15+ years total work experience including a minimum of 8 ~ 10 years experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting and/or Business Development.
č Direct experience in Merger & Acquisition (M&A) execution and integration.
č Good understanding of Mining Industry, particularly Gold, Phosphate, Aluminium.
č Superior skills in strategic and financial analysis as well as strong communication and presentation skills
č Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams
č Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and communications skills
č Leadership, Achievement Drive, Teamwork & Collaboration
