Job Description :
ƒç Develops business and strategic plans of SBU to assure that all plans are in line with the corporate Five Year Strategy and Business Development Plan. Compiles and prepares annual budget for the SBU including: Exploration, Operations, Staffing, and Economic Analysis etc. Works with various departments to develop their plans and strategies and follows up on progress of implementation of the plans. Provides leadership to build consensus and to carry-out or commission research in support of this purpose. Assists in preparing reports for Joint Ventures (JV) and for Ma¡¦aden¡¦s Board of Directors meetings
ƒç Manages the performance of the Planning & Strategy department and ensures efficiency and effectiveness by maintaining the Precious Metals Planning & Strategy System to meet the Company¡¦s approved objectives and goals ƒç Develops SBU Precious Metal business plans by liaising with Exploration, Projects, Human Resources and Finance departments, etc., to collect information and data on planned development and activity over the coming five years and incorporate the information into strategic planning systems.
č Presents the Five Year Plan to the Director, Planning & Strategy for further amendments; sets and fulfils the required endorsements within the Precious Metals affiliates/operating company and submits to the Board for final approval
ƒç Provides planning and development advice to other departments within SBU Precious Metals, and ensures that they are aware of the company¡¦s planning procedures.
č Develops the Corporate Management/Executive Information System to aid the department and the Director in planning, decision-making and performance follow-up and support the overall planning system in the Company
ƒç Contributes generally to the development of ideas within the department. Participates in the development of planning procedures and in ad-hoc studies covering all aspects of the departments¡¦ work
č Prepares Annual Report on activities for submission to the President and Board of Directors. Includes production, profits, progress made on exploration licences, Saudization, infrastructure development, etc.
č Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile:
Bachelor¡¦s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or Engineering and an MBA or equivalent.
č Minimum 15+ years' of industry background with at least 10+ in management role.
č High-energy strategic thinker with strong analytical and business judgment skills.
č Strategy and/or planning experience for large enterprises
č Project management experience including multi-team, multi-project responsibilities.
č Demonstrated ability to deliver results through complex cross-functional teams.
č Demonstrated leadership through influence and collaboration rather than direct control. č Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong presentation
č Fluency in spoken and written English
č Leadership, Achievement Drive, Teamwork & Collaboration
