MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT)
Description
Planning, control, supervision and documentation of all activities of the mechanical maintenance section for a large wastewater treatment plant operation and maintenance contract based at Mafraq, Abu Dhabi.
Preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance using an in-house computerized maintenance management system. Implementation and monitoring of HSE requirements.
Interface with client engineers.
Qualifications and Experience
> Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years experience in a supervisory position in process plant maintenance.
> Or High Diploma in Mechanical engineering and at least 10 years experience.
> Thorough knowledge of maintenance procedures, good practice, in site and workshop skills related to maintenance of all types of pumps, speed reducers, valves and rotating equipment of a large process plant.
> Hands on approach to supervision and training of technicians by example.
> Experience of Permit to Work and Safe Entry procedures and documentation.
> Computer literate with ability to write technical reports and communicate in English with Client and Management.
> Man management and leadership qualities.
