PLANNING MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Our client, established in 2007, a Power Generation and Seawater Desalination plant seeks to require a planning maintenance engineer. Will be accountable for the establishment and implementation of a preventive maintenance and condition based maintenance program. Preparation of a long term maintenance plan as per the O&M Contract Agreement and Power & Water Purchase Agreement (PWPA) and ensuring effective execution. Full utilization of the use of the CMMS software (Maximo) to manage the day to day planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, ensuring quality control of the work done by the appropriate maintenance disciplines, keeping a record of contractors equipment, maintaining the record of equipment coding and master equipment list of the plant, implement and maintain the statuary requirements necessary to comply with local laws & regulations and maintaining a record of equipment/unit failures. In addition to supporting the management of the major outages of the plant through the provision of a (Alstom) gas turbine long-term service agreement, ensuring that the plant meets availability, reliability, efficiency, generation and cost targets, safely and within strict environmental limits. Good mechanical engineering foundation and practical knowledge of modern gas turbine and desalination plant maintenance A good understanding of the skills required by Maintenance Engineers and Technicians to undertake quality maintenance activities. Minimum 5 years experience. Good communication & presentation skills.
