Job Description
The purpose of this role is to direct and coordinate activities of production department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties – Reviewing production orders or schedules to ascertain product data, Planning production operations, Preparing operational schedules and coordinating manufacturing activities, Reviewing production and operating reports and resolving operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems, Inspecting machines and equipment and Developing standard operational and working practices.
The successful candidate must have proven experience of successfully running a production line, with at least 5 years experience within production planning and management. You will ideally have a degree in Operations Management or Engineering and must have very strong man management experience. You must also have very strong Project and Change Management experience, excellent analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
