Our client, a prominent and professionally managed Industrial Group based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seekingto recruit a Project and Design Department Manager for their Electrical Manufacturing Facility inR iyadh, Saudi Arabia. An ISO 9001:2000 quality certified and approved by Saudi Electricity Co., the company specializes in the manufacturing of metal-clad switchgears, package substations, control panels, low and medium voltage panel boards and metal enclosures.
Responsibilities
* The job entails the design of cost-effective and high quality products such as panel boards, substations and MV switchgears, and interfacing with customers and suppliers
* Responsible for the management of a team of design engineers and procurement engineers for the electrical and mechanical design of systems ensuring that circuits function according to customer requirements, as well as project evaluation
* Ensure optimal efficiency to design and implement advanced industrial techniques to be used for various manufacturing processes with the utmost cost savings
* Interface with the Finance Department, production team, quality control team, suppliers and customers to deliver cost-effective and high quality products within the timeframe required by customers
* Responsible for the preparation of the material list for each project to ensure the availability of required items; otherwise, prepare and place orders with suppliers to procure out-of-stock items
* Responsible for coordinating with customers with regard to technical matters and monitoring customer satisfaction levels in terms of product quality and speed of delivery in coordination with the Sales Team
* Manage staff responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities, and contribute to the raising of the overall professionalism in the factory
* Manage the estimation section of the factory
Qualifications
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably an MS in Electrical Engineering. Must be knowledgeable in electrical manufacturing activities and must possess proven managerial experience in similar managerial posts. He must have experience and be knowledgeable in all phases of the electrical manufacturing process. For this role, you.should be a qual'rfied Electrical Engineer with a proven track record of design and engineering experience in the electrical industry. Minimum 10 years of practical experience of which 5 years should be at management level and directly related to project and design in electrical manufacturing activities.
