Job Responsibilities:
Quality control activities on capital projects and supervise Inspection team as may be necessary based on project requirements.
The incumbent will:
Supervise, monitor and/or perform activities at all stages of projects
Ensure contractor’s work is incompliance using good knowledge of Saudi Aramco engineering requirements, standards, procedures and specifications of the project contract
Provide training to others in order to achieve project requirements
Duties may require physical exertion working outdoors confined high elevations, and remote work location.
Principal Duties:
Supervise team of Inspectors assigned for a specific project
Monitor contractor’s quality systems, records and quality personnel for compliance with requirements
Review and evaluate contractor’s quality document submittals
Record legibly and accurately all controversial and non-complying construction practices, materials and equipment and report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution
Assist in the training of other inspection
Performing Quality Audits on certain projects
Qualification & Experience:
A University degree in relevant discipline
7 + years experience in Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industry
Excellent Knowledge of Inspection techniques in Oil & Gas Industrial sector
Thorough knowledge and training in the use of measuring and test equipment routinely used in conducting inspections at manufacturing and fabrication sites
Quality management work experience in a supervisory role within construction industry for petrochemical or hydrocarbon facilities
Excellent knowledge of applicable international standards
Confirmed full working knowledge of quality system standards and methods (ISO 9001)
Excellent communication in English, both written & spoken
Good organizational and computer skills
International, UAE or Saudi Driving Licence is an advantage
Candidates with immediate availability will be given preference
Good health and in excellent physical condition
