Job Description:

Teaching, supervising curriculum development and create question banks, conduct examinations, and create assessment process, develop industry interface, Planning, Developing, coordinating the courses related to Management field and Mentoring Coaching Students while promoting goodwill and value addition to overall knowledge and development of the student. To compile courseware, study material, programme guides etc., according to the subjects prescribed in the course structures; ensuring quality at par with international standards while incorporating the latest developments in the industry; ensure that copy rights are not violated when developing course ware. To coordinate with faculty members who compile study materials when required. To coordinate with the learning centres on academic matters if required. To undertake internal assessments of students as required by the organization. To undertake examination duties as required by the organization. A tenure track faculty position in Finance. Rank will be negotiated on the basis of teaching experience and credentials. The faculty member will be expected to provide high quality education to graduate and undergraduate students. Published research in reference journals is a requirement for retention, promotion, and tenure. The candidate must demonstrate excellence in teaching effectiveness and an ability to engage undergraduate students. The candidate must demonstrate the potential for published scholarly research in peer-reviewed financial journals.

Profile:

P.hD / Master’s Degree or equivalent from a reputed university / institution with 3 to 8 years of Teaching experience. • Proficiency in English and working knowledge in Computers. • Excellent networking and coordination skills. • Ability to handle situations and problems. •Candidates who have Teaching knowledge of – Cost Accounting / Principles of Auditing / Principles of Taxation / International Accounting/ Accounting Information Systems / Advanced Accounting / Financial Markets and Institutions / Investment Management / Real Estate Investments / Banking Operations Management / International Financial Management / Corporate Tax Planning / Strategic Financial Management / Financial Services / Security Analysis and Portfolio Management / Risk Management / Money and Capital Markets / Project Appraisal / Derivatives / Real Estate Management / Management of Financial Institutions / Insurance and Risk Management Management are preferred. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Doctorate in Finance will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor. - PG degree holder may be considered as Senior Lecturer. DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE: - Doctorate in Finance. - MBA / MCOM Finance - Teaching experience in Finance at the college or university level. - International Interests/experience also desirable. - Able to teach a MBA finance courses. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and maintain scholarly research to meet or exceed academic qualifications standards and to actively engage in service supporting the College's mission. - Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate: (1) excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate Finance & Accounting; (2) a record of publishing high-quality Financial Management Research; and (3) Effective Communications Skills.
