Responsibilities
Manage risk to the firm by adhering to the risk management policies and procedures and ensure significant risks are identified;
Participate as a member of the entire client service team, which may include team members from other Ernst & Young service lines, example: Assurance and Business Advisory;
Project manage the delivery of internal audit services to complex / challenging clients to plan and agreed profitability and value measures;
Design risk-based internal audit programs and determine the selection of the audit samples for the area under review;
Conduct analysis of data and review analysis carried out by the internal audit team to ensure compliance with procedures, standards and legal requirements;
Conduct follow up audits by ensuring implementation of recommended actions;
Identify and exploit business development opportunities through managing existing clients and targeting new ones;
Requirements
Internationally recognised qualification i.e. CA, CIA, CFE, ACCA or CPA is a must;
Excellent report writing and communication skills in English and Arabic;
Minimum seven years' post qualification experience in core risk based internal audit space. Out of which two years’ would be spent in a senior role leading a team and effectively managing assignments;
Appraisal grading of 3+ within the past two years at EY;
