KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop procurement strategies to ensure reduction in procurement cycle time and costs
Enhance competitiveness and availability of requisite number of developed suppliers to cater to the requirements of user departments and to ensure a variety of suppliers to choose from.
Assure selection of supplier meeting user department requirements to ensure best terms & conditions of supply of material / services to the organization and reduction in procurement cycle time.
Maintain an effective vendor rating system to ensure rewarding the best and developing the rest.
Develop an effective receipt system to ensure clearances, receipts and inspection of materials on time.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
A Degree/Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering after High School
(Tech.) with 5 to 10 years experience in, preferably with E-procurement experience.
Requires good leadership qualities, communication skills in advising, developing, negotiating, managing suppliers and planning skills.
Must be computer literate.
English Language is essential Advanced.
Financial appraisal experience.
