Our client, a Middle East based bank is looking for a Systems Specialist of Distributed Systems to join its dynamic team in Qatar.
Responsibilities:
• Take corrective action as required ensuring reliable service levels.
• Restore failed production servers through the disaster recovery process.
• Carry out security audits of the servers assigned to ensure conformance.
• Perform periodic system updates and other systems functions during off-peak hours.
• Research problems, resolve issues, provide root cause analysis and recommend process improvement.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 8 years experience in financial services in the GCC, with a specialization in systems technical design, implementation and maintenance of main server systems relevant to the distributed environment (i.e. Base 24, Prime).
