Job Description
The Ware house Manager will supervise a team of Warehouse Operatives overseeing the receiving, binning, picking and delivering of merchandise and ensures that all work is carried out efficiently and in accordance with security and safety regulations . Job Details: •To supervise Warehouse activities, Inventory control, space Management . •Provides directions to assigned employees such as corporate drivers, checkers/controllers. The job covers the receipt and storage of the good received •Provides work directions to corporate drivers, checkers/controllers, allocating work and ensuring the highest levels of performance and quality. •Receives finished products and shipments from factories, manufacturers, suppliers, checks batch report and handles enquiries related to deliveries. •Receives Daily-base Orders from the Main Office, prepare them for delivery and appoint controllers to check the orders prior to dispatch from the store for accurate and timely delivery outcome. •Ensures that effective inventory management takes place for all items in the store system. • Ensures that the warehouse is kept in a clean, safe and tidy condition at all times. Carries out physical inspections in the warehouse to verify. •Determining minimum inventory levels for all items purchased and stored •Providing an input to purchasing process owner to maintain the stock levels including item specifications and desired quantities. •Periodically reviewing and recording the number of items in store •Checking goods received against purchase order / delivery forms
