WORKSHOP MANAGER

Key Responsibilities :
Supervise and manage the workshop efficiently and profitably.
Ensure correct and efficient allocation of work in the workshop.
Ensure timely delivery of vehicles by establishing and implementing clear and efficient processes and work flows.
Maximize the departments profitability through the sale of labor, parts, and associated products.
Ensure that the quality of repair and workmanship is in accordance with Daimler Chrysler and company guidelines, and target first time fix rates are achieved.
Provide all technical support, necessary tools and technical information as well as organizational information to subordinates enabling them to accomplish their task in a fast and efficient manner.
Recommend and obtains the approval of the Service Manager for the purchase of special tools & consumables at economical prices and ensures their proper utilization.
Manage KPIs of productivity, efficiency and utilization.
Implements actions to meet hurdle rates.
Manage Technicians bonus structure to motivate staff to maintain high quality standards throughout all processes.
Review customer satisfaction index (CSI) levels against process and work quality.
Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical / Automotive or Mechanical engineering.
6-8 year relevant experience in a fully equipped automobile workshop gained through a progressive career within reputed establishments / organizations.
